FOR THE PUBLIC

Take advantage of a modern, high-quality, and expeditious method of dispute resolution

Arbitration (sometimes referred to as “arbitral proceedings”) is an out-of-court method of resolving disputes through independent and impartial arbitrators. It is often used as an alternative to civil proceedings in matters involving property disputes. Arbitration is confidential, which—together with its speed and frequently lower costs when compared to standard court proceedings—is considered its greatest advantage. A fundamental prerequisite for benefiting from arbitration is that your agreements contain an ARBITRATION CLAUSE

Arbitration in the Czech Republic is governed by Act No. 216/1994 Coll., on Arbitration Proceedings and on the Enforcement of Arbitral Awards, as amended, which took effect on January 1, 1995. We resolve property disputes, international disputes, domestic disputes, and consumer disputes, and we also handle disputes concerning domain names under .CZ, .EU, .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, and other top-level domains. Arbitration before our Court is financially accessible to legal entities and individuals—both Czech and foreign. In accordance with the New York Convention, arbitral awards are now enforceable in 159 countries worldwide (as of September 2018).
